Find people nearby
Use a live map and discovery tools to see people through approximate proximity—not an exact address—with controls for when and how visible you want to be.
About SYKL
Real people. Real close. Real time.
SYKL is a privacy-first social app for verified adults 18+ who want to discover genuine connections through approximate nearby discovery—not endless feeds or subscription traps.
Connect in real time
Join live rooms, start conversations, and move from messages to face-to-face video when a connection feels right. Live calls use peer-to-peer WebRTC and are not recorded or relayed by SYKL.
Keep more control
Direct messages are stored to deliver them; choose an optional disappearing timer when you want messages removed after its selected TTL. Ghost Mode and privacy settings help you choose what you share and with whom.
Meet real humans
SYKL is built around identity verification and community safety. Verification helps confirm an adult human; it does not automatically make anyone discoverable.
Why SYKL is different
Most social apps are designed to keep you scrolling. SYKL is designed to help you make a real connection and then get back to your life. Nearby discovery, live rooms, direct messages, and live video work together in one place.
You decide when you are visible. You decide which conversations continue. You can leave a room, hide your presence, or choose a disappearing-message timer. The goal is simple: more context, more trust, and less permanent noise.
Simple access, no subscription traps
You can create a SYKL account for free. Premium access uses time-bound, one-time passes, with options shown on the plans and pricing page. Each pass ends when its access window ends; there are no automatic renewals hiding behind a trial.
Built for adults and real-world safety
SYKL is for adults 18 and older. We pair verification with reporting, blocking, visibility controls, and community guidelines. No online service can remove every risk, so use good judgment and meet safely in public places.
